Charles Smith Winemaker
Charles Smith – From Rocker to Winemaker: Before Charles Smith became a household name and “Winemaker of the Year”, he managed rock bands and concert tours throughout Europe for almost ten years. After traveling the world, he moved to Washington State and created a brand of wines that resides in the largest urban winery on the west coast. He since been named “Winemaker of the Year” by Food & Wine (2009) and Wine Enthusiast (2014).

The Wines: Chateau Smith Cabernet Sauvignon, Boom Boom! Syrah, The Velvet Devil Merlot, Eve Chardonnay & Kung Fu Girl Riesling. Although all five wines are easy drinking and for everyone, his Kung Fu Girl Riesling is the most popular and most awarded.
Kung Fu Girl Wine
After receiving 90+ scores for the past 7 vintages, Kung Fu Girl Riesling was named #45 in the 2016 Wine Spectator Top 100.

Kung Fu Girl Tasting Note: This Riesling comes from the Evergreen Vineyard in Washington State and is 100% Riesling. It has tastes of citrus blossom, lime leaf, and white peach that intermingle with mineral that fills the palate.
