Toasting Graduation Season in Boston

We’ve gotten through another winter, pretty much skipped spring, and summer is finally upon us.  The Red Sox are rockin' it at Fenway and the Swan boats are swimming.  These are some of the iconic images we look forward to after suffering another dark, cold winter in our beloved Boston.  With the goond weather comes something even more important to the hotels and restaurants of our fair city: graduation season. 

There are over 250,000 students in the greater Boston area making us the highest per capita city in the world for higher education.  From mid-May through July we welcome the friends and families of thousands of students to recognize their accomplishments.  Hotel average daily rates can increase as much as 30% percent during this busy season and they are always finding creative and fun ways to help families congratulate loved ones.  From spiced up Hotel suite packages to elaborate dinner parties, families will spare no expense to celebrate.
 

Our friends at the Four Seasons have even come up with an elaborate way of celebrating by teaming up with one of the world’s most luxurious brands, Armand De Brignac Champagne.  The Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins have all celebrated their biggest achievements while toasting to the iconic gold bottles and now our graduates can as well.  With a couple of weeks’ notice, The Four Season can have a personal congratulatory message engraved on the box that the Armand De Brignac Champagne is presented in. What better way to celebrate than receiving a gift upon check in or surprise while dining at the Bristol.  So let’s all raise our glasses to the graduates for making springtime in Boston that much more memorable.
