For the month of January 2017, Horizon was fortunate to have our Night Operations Manager, Al Skinner, selected. Congrats Al and keep up the great work! Alan Skinner, Night Operations Manager Where do you live? Taunton, MA How long have you worked at Horizon Beverage? 16 years. I started in the line, a good union job, moving cases. Then I became a foreman, and today I work in management. Why did you choose to work here? I used to own an auto repair business, but wanted to try something else. Horizon provided me with the opportunity to build a career here. What do you like about working at Horizon Beverage? Management has invested in the best and cleanest equipment in the industry. Horizon cares about the safety of its employees, and that is important to me. There is a big focus on the environment, too. Movement activates our new lighting system, so lights are off when no one is in certain parts of the warehouse, and our lifts electric – which are cleaner and more efficient than lifts that use fossil fuel.
