Horizon Beverage Industry Scholars Fund

Horizon Beverage, represented by the Epstein and Rubenstein families, partners with the Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) and their Educational Foundation to encourage the continued growth of Massachusetts’ hospitality industry by supporting education for the next generation of industry leaders.

In the fall of 2014, Horizon presented the MRA with its largest donation in history — $80,000 — targeted for the Massachusetts Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (MRAEF).

At the MRAEF’s annual "Making the Future Bright Scholarship Awards Gala," $20,000 in scholarship prizes is awarded each year to 4 students entering food-service education programs from 2015-2018.

Award recipients are selected by a committee, including a representative from Horizon Beverage, based on the quality of their applications, merit and commitment to the food-service industry.
