Horizon Beverage Industry Scholars Fund
Horizon Beverage, represented by the Epstein and Rubenstein families, partners with the Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) and their Educational Foundation to encourage the continued growth of Massachusetts’ hospitality industry by supporting education for the next generation of industry leaders.
In the spring of 2015, Horizon presented the MRA with its largest donation in history — $80,000 — targeted for the Massachusetts Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (MRAEF).
Over the next four years at the MRAEF’s annual "Making the Future Bright Scholarship Awards Gala," $20,000 in scholarship prizes will be awarded to students entering food-service education programs. Award recipients will be selected by a committee including a representative from Horizon Beverage based on the quality of their applications, merit and commitment to the food-service industry.
Horizon is also a Gold Level Sponsor of the MRAEF's annual ProStart® Invitational culinary & management competition and the MRA's annual Wianno Golf Tournament.
